There is a science fiction in the world of science but some things are based on real experiments called scientifically proved and some are not based on real experiment but Theoretically proved by mathematics.The theory of Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and the many scientists believe that time it is possible. According to their theories, the faster the speed of an object, the speed of time will be less.

If any object travels with the speed of the light, then it can travel time. when you travel with the speed of light, the time for you will be very slow compared to what is on earth, If you travel in the speed of light in any spaceship then you will travel time.
Time travel to the Future? - It is obviously not possible to make a machine which running in light speed is not practical at all. If we have made such a machine, then we will not be able to provide any means of power to which it can operate. So we can say that time travel to the future is not impossible but not practically.
Time travel to the Past? - You can not go anyway in the past like any machine running in light speed, it is more controversial than going into the future.
For example: Suppose you somehow travel to the past and you killed your grandfather, so how will you stay at that time means that when you have killed your grandfather, then your grandfather is not, then how are you born?
This is a super confusion problem, which has no answer, so many people have this mentality that goes in the past is impossible but Stephen Hawking says that it is possible by the wormhole.
